Day 12: The Arabic Alphabet

Sunday! (I have a midterm tomorrow, boooo!)

Here is the Arabic alphabet. It consists of letters and is read from right to left.

Above is how each letter is written individually. Below is how each letter is written when at the beginning, middle or end of a word.

  1. Hi, do you own that chart that shows the letters of the alphabet in all of their forms (initial, final, medial)? And, if so, can I post it on my blog? I have a language learning blog, and I made an Arabic alphabet chart with arrows (click on my name to see it), but it only has the the isolated form of the letters, which doesn’t really help when trying to learn how to read.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
